Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma Foundation

The Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST) seeks to furnish leadership and foster advances in the case of injured patients. EAST affords a forum for the exchange of knowledge pertaining to the care and rehabilitation of the injured patient.

Following a fundraising assessment in 2009, the EAST Foundation, which supports EAST and its members, hired Association Development Solutions (ADS) to conduct a $100,000 annual appeal. The EAST Foundation raised $110,000 and retained ADS to assist in launching the Foundation’s first ever $1 million campaign in 2011. This campaign exceeded its goal by raising $1.1 million for continued surgical trauma research and education for its members. In 2013, ADS was retained again by EAST to conduct an annual appeal which raised nearly $300,000. With the help of ADS, the EAST Foundation has secured its first-ever six-figure commitments in the history of the organization and increased member giving by 500%.
